Battles of the American Revolution: 1779

Held in person at McKimmon Center: Join us for part five of an ongoing series about the Battles of the American Revolution. This course will cover the battles of 1779. While events seem to stagnate in the north, the British Southern Campaign is in full swing. South Carolina and Georgia become the focus of the war on the continent. Even Louisiana becomes a war zone! Meanwhile, Spain enters the conflict and, together with France, the two allies mount an armada against Britain. The Great Siege of Gibraltar begins and will last for four long years. Battles in the West Indies continue and the Caribbean war zone extends to Honduras and Belize. This truly is world war now.
