Via Zoom:Representatives from NC State University's GLBT Center, within the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity, will visit OLLI for a course designed spread awareness about the GLBT community. The first of two sessions will discuss the evolution of GLBT acceptance, some major political and cultural milestones, as well as some basic current terminology and concepts. The second session will explore some common issues across the lifespan that the GLBT community might face, including those who might come out later in life, and how to be supportive of friends and loved ones.
