Where does electricity come from today and how does it get to your house? This course will discuss the current methods of generation, transmission, distribution, and storage of power. We will look at environmental issues, safety, costs, security, and efficiencies for each mode of generation and distribution. We will talk about the future of electricity for our children and grandchildren over the next 10 years and beyond. Finally, we will discuss possible answers to the question of whether renewables will solve the environmental issue.
