On Aug. 3, 2022 the volcanology community was talking about one thing only: the new eruption in Iceland. Within a week, Dr. Ariana Soldati joined the Icelandic eruption response team. In this lecture she will take you on a multi-sensorial journey through this incredible opportunity. We will explore what it is like to be at the site of an active volcanic eruption. Dr. Soldati will share some preliminary results from her field research.
