Lecture -- Solo and Savvy

Held in person at McKimmon Center: Whether the moniker you’ve heard is “elder orphan,” “solo ager” or simply “solo” there are those among us who are aging without the benefit of built-in family as caregivers. We’re an emerging demographic, a population often hidden in plain sight, and there are more of us than you may realize. Some of us have chosen to age alone, or may find ourselves suddenly alone; we may be estranged from family or they may be far-flung. As solos, we have unique considerations to plan for and navigate our future. The instructor is both a solo and a professional who helps folks plan and implement solid decisions. Let’s get savvy!
