En-ROADS is an active-learning policy simulation model that gives participants the chance to design their own scenarios that could limit future global warming. We will be challenging assumptions, trying audience suggestions, and getting immediate feedback on the likely impacts. The simulation, developed by Climate Interactive, Ventana Systems, and MIT Sloan, offers an intuitive interface that has been carefully grounded in the best available science, and calibrated against a wide range of existing integrated assessment, climate and energy models. It’s also a fun and effective way to learn!
