Lecture -- Whole Foods and Whole Health for Single Diners

Are you someone who is frequently setting the "table for one?"  Sometimes when the social experience of meals is missing, adults who live alone need an extra push to prepare nutritious meals. They may skip meals or rely on convenience foods such as cereal, frozen dinners, or canned foods. This lack of variety can lead to malnutrition, a deficiency in vitamins, fiber, protein, or calcium. Malnutrition can lead to poor digestion, weight loss, bone problems, and fatigue. Good nutrition is important for everyone, at every age and stage of life. Healthy meals don’t have to be complicated. This lecture will explain the fundamentals of good nutrition, and provide practical guidelines to help you get the most out of your meals to boost your energy levels, and improve your quality of life, even if you are preparing dinner for one.
