Held in person at McKimmon Center: Winston Churchill famously referred to Russia as a riddle wrapped in mystery.  By the end of Putin’s first term in power, a new consensus solidified amongst the experts that Russia had become a conventional middle-income society, following a rather normal political trajectory. In this course, we will explore the current state of Russia’s politics and society. In session one, we'll focus on domestic issues and the fundamentals of Putin’s regime, and in session two, we'll analyze the motives and vectors of Russia’s foreign policy.
