Study Trip -- Artspace Studio Visit and Printmaking Class

Located in downtown Raleigh in the historic Sanders Ford building, the Artspace facility was once the city’s livery and later Sanders Ford Car Dealership. Today this 30,000 square foot facility is home to over 35 artists working in a variety of media, and is one of the largest open studio environments in the country. Learn about the history of Artspace, explore their rotating exhibitions, and interact with resident Studio Artists to expand our understanding of the creative process. Following the tour, we will complete a hands-on printmaking activity led by a professional artist. Lunch will be self-pay at a nearby restaurant.

Includes: Transportation on NC State bus, tour and art-making supplies.

Depart: McKimmon Center at 10:30 am
