IPOs, SPACS, ETFs, LBOs, "shorting,” and margin -- these are some of the many buzz words and factors that seem to dominant today’s business headlines. This course is geared for those who have some familiarity with stocks and bonds, but who like to learn more about how these other instruments are used. We'll look at the role of the Federal Reserve and Congress and the factors that may (or may not) move the markets. We will take a dive into shorting, margin, indexes and criteria used in evaluating and comparing company stocks and mutual funds.
