Concrete Slabs: Design, Construction, Troubleshooting, and Floor Coverings

Concrete slabs are one of the most used construction elements in residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. Despite their popularity and intensive use, concrete slabs are commonly at the center of most in-service problems, deficiencies, and disputes. This real-world technical event is geared for practicing architects, engineers, contractors, inspectors, testing agencies, and owners.  You will have the opportunity to review current design principles, construction practices, troubleshooting methods, and testing actions necessary to obtain and deliver a quality and durable concrete slab. You will also have the opportunity to learn the state-of-the-practice methods to install new floor coverings over concrete and to troubleshoot and remediate failing concrete floor coverings.
