The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is primarily funded through membership and program fees. Endowment support from The Bernard Osher Foundation provides funding for special initiatives such as member engagement activities and program enhancements. Sponsors support our special events. Donations make up the remaining sources of revenue. Significant expenses include classroom rental, administrative support, staffing, and printing costs. We rely on donations to meet a portion of these annual costs. Your support allows us to keep our fees low and OLLI accessible to the greatest number of area adults. OLLI at NC State receives no state-appropriated support, and more than 80% of our annual budget is based on the membership and program fees that members pay.
