Astronomy Night at Wilkerson Nature Preserve

OLLI members will meet at sunset for an introductory presentation about astronomy, followed by outdoor observation using a telescope. You can expect at this time in November to see Saturn, Venus, and a crescent moon. Outdoor observation is weather permitting; in case of low visibility or poor weather, indoor interactive experiences explaining the fundamental principles of astronomy will be incorporated into the program.
