This course will examine why 1939 is recognized as Hollywood’s greatest year. Over the course of 6 sessions, Stan will cover some Hollywood blockbusters like “Gone With The Wind”, “The Wizard of Oz” and “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” along with many other great films. We will have the opportunity to see film clips and talk about the actors and the people behind the camera that created this amazing run of movies. We will discuss 18 films made during this amazing year.
