Via Zoom: According to the citizen science resource eBird, 189 different species of birds have been reported from Lake Johnson, (which is located very near NC State). Participants will learn how to use eBird, a project of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, to access these species and determine the best times of year to see them. Participants will also learn how to use eBird to keep track of the birds they have seen and to explore what kinds of birds can be found in other areas, including almost any area of the world. An overview of the birds of Lake Johnson will also be presented.
