Feline Fine--Exploring Cat Behavior

Now that your cat has you trained, it’s time to learn more about these magnificent creatures who graciously allow you to live in their homes. Led by a volunteer from nonprofit rescue Alley Cats and Angels of NC, this class will cover topics related to the physical and behavioral needs of housecats. We will cover topics related to physical health such as signs of illness, routine care, household dangers, and the importance of claws. We will also cover the fascinating world of feline instincts and behavior with topics such as litterbox habits, cat-to-cat relationships, the importance of play, and of course how to speak and understand “cat.” Finally, we will briefly introduce you to the world of community cats, trap-neuter-return programs, and our rescue work. Because this is a Zoom class, your cats are welcome to attend with you, as long as it does not interfere with their nap schedules.
