Lecture -- Long-Term Care: Who's Going to Pay?

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, about 70% of Americans over age 65 will require some type of long-term care services during their lifetime. Yet most of us remain ill-prepared for such an eventuality. This thought-provoking lecture will explore how our nation’s custodial healthcare dilemma has evolved over time, dispel the most common myths and misconceptions, and provide an analysis of potential funding sources. Will the government pay for your care? Is insurance a cost-effective election? Should you self-insure the risk? Or are there alternative choices available? While no perfect solution exists, attendees will walk away with a solid understanding of their risk and a comprehensive list of available options.
