Lecture -- Mastering Macarons and Putting Your Passion to Work

Allison Vick, pastry chef and owner of Little Blue Macaron and Little Blue Bakehouse in Raleigh shares how she turned her passion for macaron making into a family-run business, and the highs and lows that come with entrepreneurship. We will discuss the history of the macaron, the macronage and baking process, working with your partner and juggling family life with business life, and the ins-and-outs of turning a hobby and a dream into a profitable business.
