Dr. Tom Stafford, NC State Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Emeritus, has made numerous contributions to the university community and the OLLI program. He will share about his life and the highlights of his career, and how he eventually became a campus ambassador and tour guide. In August 2023, he conducted his 1000th tour of the Memorial Bell Tower and in September 2023, in recognition of his service to NC State after retirement, he received the Watauga Medal, NC State's highest non-academic honor. Join our friend Dr. Tom Stafford and journey with him to the Hallowed Places, the landmarks and spaces that store the most cherished memories on NC State’s campus, defined by the university as “irreplaceable campus buildings, landscapes and natural settings that have accrued special meaning over time.” Refreshments will follow from 3:15 - 4:00pm
